3 Steps to Skyrocket your Instagram Growth

Your Instagram bio is more important than you think! It’s the first thing people see when they land on your profile, and it’s your opportunity to make a memorable first impression. You want your Instagram bio to be both compelling and captivating, reflecting your expertise and personality. In this blog post, we’ll dive into the four essential elements that should be included your Instagram bio. Ready?

WHAT YOU DO

Your Instagram bio should start by clearly defining what you do. This is your chance to concisely express how you help your audience. Embrace your voice by infusing a touch of creativity and personality into your description (aka make it fun!). You can incorporate emojis to add something fun but don’t add too many or it might get cluttered!

WHO YOU DO IT FOR

To truly connect with a non-follower who is deciding if they want to follow you, be clear on who your services or products are designed for. Confusion kills conversion! For example:

  • “Marketing and sales strategy for coaches”
  • “Sustainable Pinterest marketing for online service pros”
  • “Helping photographers build and run a profitable biz”

CASE STUDY OR RESULT

If you have a result that you’ve accomplished or helped clients accomplish, this is a great way to be building authority and trust! I’m an Instagram coach and strategist and in my bio I have “190+ students” because I’ve been able to coach or help 190+ students either through my 1:1 coaching or through my courses.

By showcasing your accomplishments, you not only inspire trust but also inspire potential clients who want to accomplish what you’ve helped other people do.

CALL TO ACTION

Every Instagram bio should include a call to action (CTA). It encourages your audience to take a specific action, whether it’s downloading a freebie, clicking a link, or sending a message. Make it specific! For example, mine says “FREE Instagram growth training”. But you could also have…

  • “Download XYZ freebie”
  • “Book a 1:1 call with me”
  • “Grab my XYZ offer”
